It’s hard for us to remember a time when we weren’t constantly working with Brookfield but this was our first big project with the developer. They wanted to create a kiosk that would create a buzz, garner lots of foot traffic and capture emails for potential buyers. After submitting a proposal we were chosen over two other design studios to create a kiosk in Cross Iron Mills.

 

There were a lot of different elements that went into making this kiosk a success, but what really set this apart was the collaboration. We worked with Brookfield and the Curious Agency to make a unique design that really stands out. After creating the initial design we found ways to make the kiosk stand out by creating interactive games for kids, and interactive apps for adults. We had a light-up logo, brochure stands, custom iPad desk, and a 3-dimensional word mark built on layered acrylic panels. We designed, fabricated installed the project from start to finish,.

 

Not only did the panel look great but we achieved our 4-month goal for capturing emails in only 3 weeks. The kiosk also won 3rd place for most creative promotional kiosk behind Coke, and cirque du Soleil.
