People have been using medicinal cannabis to treat their ailments for thousands of years. Until recently a lot of the information relevant to potential cannabis users has been difficult to find and even harder to decipher. We wanted to help solve this problem with the creation of Harvest Medicine, a medical clinic where patients can come, educate themselves on the benefits of medical cannabis, schedule an appointment with a doctor, then talk to competent individuals on products that can help them with their issues.

 

To do this we created a friendly, comfortable space that respects peoples privacy, and helps them to navigate a system that at the time was foreign to many. We created the logo, colour profile, and messaging for the company and retail space. We wanted to keep the space light and professional, consistent with healthcare facilities, we used screens to display updating figures and relied heavily on infographics to convey information into easily understood pieces. We had 3 distinct sections, reception, where patients check in and can ask questions, our waiting room and doctor section, where patients wait in a private area until a doctor can assess them, and finally our LP area, where customers can go and talk to certified individuals on the benefits of different products. 

 

The project was a complete success, and the company thrived. Harvest Medicine did so well that within a year, they were able to open a new clinic in St. Albert, Alberta.
